Oct 16th, 2006, 7:53am   A question: I have 2 grayscale image strips that would be joined together like this... http://www.metaphorical.net/temp/join_strip.jpg What would be the best algorithm to achieve a smooth blending at the joint? I have tried out many approaches without much success. Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated. Many thanks!
