missing fonts?
Oct 13th, 2006, 2:52pm

Hi all!

I've started playing with Processing and I'm amazed by his power. It's just one of those tools that makes you creative all night long.

After jumping to examples I've found a sample that uses fonts and read in your docs that:
'we have supplied a number of fonts
located in the "font" directory in the main
"processing" directory.' .. but couldn't find any font directory in Processing root dir. The only font files are found in the examples directory.
I'm using ver. 0.118 BETA downloaded two days ago.

Congrats and keep it going guys ..

we don't include the fonts anymore, there's a note about this buried in revisions.txt:

- the 'fonts' folder has been removed. these were old (had no special
characters like umlauts and whatnot) and of questionable copyright
status, so we took them out. you can create fonts to your heart's
content using the "Create Font" option.

what example includes that text? we should update it.
