vertex brightness tracking
Mar 6th, 2006, 2:12am

Hi all,
I just got onto processing and generative design recently and intend to use it for performative audio visual work. I've got a technical issue involving 3d and brightness tracking that I was hoping I could get some help with.

I want use brightness or chrominance tracking to create vertexes to form a 3d geometry for a piece I am working on. The principle is that Processing uses points corrosponding to a set luminance/RGB value to use it to generate a moving geometry, sort of like tracing a wireframe atop a video image. Is it possible? or am I asking too much, any help would be welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Brandon.
