Hi all,

Does anyone have experience of hooking Processing (or Director) up to an active stereo viewing system?

Ian.

I'm looking for this too.

You might take a look at http://www.houseof3d.com/pete/applets/wireframe/stereo/viewmaster.html

With render-to-texture?

Search the alpha board for key terms relating to this topic, as I seem to remember a really good example of this built with processing.

I can't remember who it was! Sorry, but if I remember I'll post it up.

I did a couple of sketches with dual-image stereo sort of 3d-ness:

and
http://www.hardcorepawn.com/Planet/

Basicly, I render one eye, copy the screen to a PImage, move the camera, render the other, and overlay the first.

It would possibly be quicker to use seperate PGraphics for each eye, then composite onto screen.

Better! I tried with alternate frames. ..a Little bit OldSchool POV artifices.. Wink It's done with a monoPGraphics for stereoscopic H.A.L.L.U.C.I.N.A.T.I.O.N.S.
