Is there a way to reference particular frames of a movie that is being played back directly by frame number instead of by seconds?

If not, is this a problem with the QuickTime standard, or processing, and if it's processing, could this functionality be added to processing?

Having to use seconds when what I really care about is frames opens up the possibility of error, rounding and otherwise.
