Camera Recommendations

I’m in the new market for a new web cam. Hooray. Jolly good. Mainly: I need a decent cam to use with the processing video library on my PC. I know that Logitech’s have a problem with QuickTime for Java… so any suggestions?

My logitech has no trouble with quicktime for java on windows xp with winvdig.  I'm not sure if I'd recommend it though, not super great as a camera.

I never add any problem with Java for QuickTime and my Logitech.

But your choice depends of your budget.
Low end logitech will work great but the image quality is not going to great.
The QuickCam pro 5000 and the The Apple iSight have a way better quality (I have tested the QuickCam pro and I have the iSight).

But As I said I never add particular problems with Logitech
