No video using Eyetoy as webcam

Hi. I installed the driver to use the Eyetoy USB camera as a webcam. I can record video and sound fine but when I try to use it with an Instant Messenger such as AIM, the person I am chatting with can only hear me, they cant see me. Has anyone else had this problem before? If so, does anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

is this a question to do with processing, or an eyetoy with AIM issue?
