Video device locked after crash

I'm using processing and jmyron on OSX to capture from my iSight/USBVideo device. Once my applet crashed and after that my iSight wouldn't work anymore. Every other app (QT, iChat, etc.) worked fine. It's just processing that doesn't show an image (without throwing an error).
After that I switched to my USBVideo-card using an external camera. Today the applet crashed again so I was left with no working camera.
I was searching around for lockfiles but couldn't find any. A restart of the system didn't work either. The only thing left to do was to reinstall processing, which solved the problem.
Can anyone tell me where and how my cameras got locked ?

I've had the same problem, it worked fine, then after a crash it stops Sad all other apps use the camera fine, but the Myron Library won't use the camera anymore. Did anyone manage to figure it out?
