does YOUR Trust web cam work?
May 20th, 2005, 2:20am

I'm having a lot of trouble with a Trust 120 space cam.

First off I have to strip off all video drivers, put the Trust one on first and then put vdig on last of all to get it to work on any PC.

Secondly I tried to run a project on a G5 OSX and it couldn't see the web cam at all (null capture list).

So two questions:
I'm not entirely au fait with Macs but I know they like to be smart about the hardware they see. However - lacking a driver disk with an application on it for the Mac (like most hardware these days) is there an application on the Mac where I can test out connectivity with a web cam? (iWebcam?)

Has anyone else had trouble with Trust web cam products? I've contacted their support about this in the nicest possible way but some more evidence would be nice. It's not like I haven't had issues on a range of computers with this product (no computer likes it), but perhaps it's just this one cam.

I usually use BTV (http://www.bensoftware.com/) or just iMovie to test if a webcam's working. But all the cams i've used were firewire..
