Problem after download

I incountered a problem after finish downloading the program processing,i extracted the file,i'm running windows xp,i tried with java and without,the one with java tell me fatal exception has occured,exiting program and the one without java just doesnt open,can sumone tell me what i have to do or what i did wrong?this is my first time with processing
