Linux, but what version?

Forget it, nothing to see here, please move along. I forget to check the FAQ, sorry folks!

I wanted to know what version of Linux I should use for Processing, but the following description instantly scared me away.

"Getting Processing to run on Linux can be tricky, [...]"
