JavaApplicationStub can't open library

I managed to install Processing 103 on OS X 10.3.8 without any problem, but I cannot get any newer version of Processing to work. Just downloaded 115, and when I double click on the application I get this error message from the console

dyld: /Applications/Processing 0115/Processing 0115.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub can't open library: /usr/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib  (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

can anyone help please?

processing requires 10.3.9 or later to run:
