i am still learning, and often do not have an immediate internet connection. it would be nice if class was included in the built in docs.

Do you mean what class is, or does?

http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/java/concepts/class.html

saveas, or download the java docs.

i just mean if you type "class" and do a "find in reference", you get a page with nothing on it, unlike the other processing words.

class isn't a processing word, it's a Java one, and significantly more complex than anything else in the reference, so it's explanation is probably best left to some Java docs than processing.
