Too late! (Read 1157 times)
Too late!
Mar 31st, 2006, 1:43pm

This is a typical reaction from me in response to many 'call for entries' notices that I either receive or come across in my day to day activities.

Is there a decent resource with an RSS feed able to keep folk such as myself abreast of 'calls'?

A kind of digest covering a diversity of activities in a range of disciplines that a community such as processing would be part of?

Ta!

Marius has recently been posting useful things to http://generatorx.no, and I get quite a few things through on the eu-gene mailing list.

As always with these things, the best ones seem to arrive too late though.

http://del.icio.us/tag/conferences sometimes has a few gems - try filtering by e.g. art http://del.icio.us/tag/conferences+art

Thanks Tom!

Yes, Marius. Please keep posting the 'calls' on generator. I didn't realise you were doing this.

Still be nice to get a broad spectrum of 'calls' blogged up, or something similar.

Hi Mark, I will continue posting the calls I think are relevant, there's a lot of "noise" out there and I don't want to be in the business of broadcasting everything that comes through.

Tom's del.icio.us idea is good, you can even subscribe to a RSS feed and get some that way. I actually recommend subscribing to Tom's own del.icio.us feed, I find good links that way quite often...
