I saw this topic in the alpha part of the forum but I have not seen it in the beta so I will mention it.

I suggest line numbers be added to processing, and the reason is I work with another computer programmer who cannot type because of wrist problems so when we work together it is very convenient to have line numbers to reference the code.

perhaps not in the beta forum cuz the line number is always shown at the bottom of the window? Wink

Yes, but that is only the line that is selected. When I dual program this does not help much.

For example, when working in an agile environment my partner may notice that I have mistyped a variable and he will mention the mistype. Since the variable appears several times on the screen I can not be sure which one he has referenced. If he could say you mistyped the variable on line 15 it could save us a lot of time.
