question about versions

I'm new to this forum, and im not sure if this is the right place to post my question, but it said Website on the title, so here's the question anyway:

in the download page, i can download the following version:

0099 BETA | 18 December 2005


and then it says, PREVIOUS RELEASES:

0103 BETA | 18 01 2006
0102 BETA | 15 01 2006
0101 BETA | 14 01 2006
0100 BETA | 13 01 2006


I don't get it :S, should i keep 0099 or download 0103? is there any noticeable difference??

99 is the current stable release, we often release code for testing and when it's debugged we post it from the main download links at the top of the page. 103 is the most recent release but 99 is the most recent stable release.
