Processing Search
Nov 19th, 2005, 4:40am

Hi again. Still processing...
Now I'm too busy and have no time (I'm moving house and city... wish me good luck!), but I'm too thrilled that I post this early version. I know some people could think "this guy gets a real thrill out of smallness"... but it makes me very happy because I began to learn Java as autodidact this September (and I have no idea)!
This one is dedicated to the Fry's "teeny jar" (I encourage you to work the Tools... no, no, sorry... to work the WHOLE processing Wink). Thanks again for your work and time (Ben/Casey).

Well, satisfying personal needs I thought about how nice could be to search questions on the board directly from Processing. Here is the materialized idea using the same Discourse search (again hacking Editor.java to build a new item inside mouse right button popup-menu).
All the features of the search web page are included. It's still unfinished but it runs (no macs).
I hope you enjoy it.

...

And a question: which is the best way for Processing to close and unload memory
Thanks and one saludo.
Nach.

Thats very clever, and even more useful.

Just one stoopid q - Where do I need to throw these files?

Sorry: I'm very busy Sad
Thanks Manuel: I've put a compiled pde.jar to guide (I use Eclipse). Keep the original pde.jar to restore Processing (PSearch is not finished and Editor.java is patched).
Thanks, Michael (btw I'll email you again because your "Possible violation of privacy (nothing serious, I think)" is still unresolved Wink)

If I cannot post before Christmas:

Quote:

while(int i<infinite) {
 Merry Christmas;
 Happy New Year;
 println("(Peace and Processing) to everybody");
}
