Use of Tablets
Jul 19th, 2005, 7:18pm

I have a Wacom tablet, and in OS X tiger, java picks up events that are tablet related and spits out a message in Processing like this:

2005-07-19 13:15:58.516 java[11127] tabletProximity:

It looks like there's something I can do to pick up the NSEvent, but, what?

For all I know, new Javas under Windows may do the same; I've been using jwintab but am not too happy with it.

I didn't found any equivalent to jwintab_v2.dll for MAC. I guess Wacom won't publish this open driver for Mac. I'm curious because it works in Photoshop? But how jwintab_v2.dll could run on OsX? The problem might not be JAVA, but how the system run the Tablet. It's still a problem for me at the moment and I would love to finally have the jmactab.dll working with P5.
