I have a small problem while browsing with Safari ...I cannot see the animations. What do I need to install so they can be displayed? thanks

you shouldn't need to install anything with safari, though you may need to enable java if it has been shut off. check Safari -> Preferences -> Security and make sure the box next to java (and javascript) have checkmarks.
