javaw.exe help!

well, i downloaded processing a few days ago but i cant run it because when i try to open 'processing.exe' a message pops
up saying that it cant find the file 'javaw.exe' (or one of its components) and gos on
saying '...Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.'
please help me!!!!
i just wanna' use a nifty peice of program!!!

are you using the standard version?
what os are you on (i'm guessing win98 or winme?)
have you tried running it by double clicking run.bat?

no im using expert version
win2000
and yes i have tried that but it just flickers on and off once...

do you have sun java2 installed?
(you should see a "Java Plugin" icon in your Control Panel window)
otherwise, you can download it from http://www.java.com

well.... thanks anyway but the computer im using is new and only has 1.58 gigs on it and that total without any prorams like word, access and excel... so i couldnt install it.....
sorry to waste all of your time...
