Bubble chambers

So, I was sifting through Fry's thesis and was elated to see some of his 'failures'. In particular, the Valence that was based on spirals. I was reminded of my fascination with sub-atomic particle physics and was wondering if any of you bulging left-brainers had attempted to recreate the sublime beauty of particle collisions photographed in a bubble or cloud chamber. I once tried my hand at it a while ago while still a student at RISD but quickly found myself in way over my head. But from that spiral based Valence, it seems it would only be a short hop to recreate (in slo-mo of course) the beautiful chaotic spirals resulting from nearly imaginary collisions. interesting, they have a certain resonance with Australian-Aboriginal mapping art, as well as star maps.
