a little confused

Hi, I am new to proce55ing and I am a little unclear as to how proce55ing works? Do I need some sort of special program installed on a server to run my proce55ing apps on the web?

Short answer: no.
Proce55ing will create a Java applet - all you have to do is put it on your site, and the user has to have the Java plugin for their browser if they wish to view it. It is similiar to the way Quicktime, Flash etc all work.

YOu can provide a link to sun's java Runtime download, and make it up to the user to decide if they wish to upgrade.
