argh yeah. its cyworld (korean community) its the largest single community in the world for a single country. Thier site makes 10 million dollars a day. The downside, korean's dont develop for anything other than msie. also the way it works... its super addictive. im addicted -_-. now that im writing... is there anyway in windows that i can give vdig more resources so its lazy ass does its job better? the framerate seems to be totally rolling. One minute, 60 fps, next like 15. im using a commercial one i bought a while ago. -c

Nice stuff! (You can right click and do 'show only this frame' to make it work in mozilla.) I was messing around with using a digital camera through processing, but was only getting 320x240x~15fps, which was kind of annoying. (Camera can do 640x480x30fps, but then again, I might need USB2 for that to work...) What kind of system (specs) are you using to run that in realtime? Marcello

hi cello, well early on in messing with computer vision things i learned that using a webcam isnt the way to go for me. so - i use a video capture card that can do 60fps standard. then - i use a analog black and white boardcam. the reason why (not for this example) is that its extremely sensitive at low light levels. actually i saw a camera that does 200fps... its firewire. i doubt it would work well with shitty vdig. who knows. im using amd athlon 64 processor 3000+, 1 gig ram. the processing of the simulation seems to work no problem... just the video capture seems to hiccup. i think its just because of vdig. using vdig seems to be a bit crap to be getting video images. i havent tried it on a mac. actually - there is sound too... i use maxlink and another computer to recieve the maxlink udp messages. the sound is just wind with your movement affecting some cuttoff. The problem is that i can record the video and the audio and make them sync up right - so its just not worth it to even play it in the video.

What your doing is awesome! I was wondering if your going to release any of them soon, we could do some pretty neat things here in our video lab at school with those and I was hoping to try them out
