Playback speed / QuickTime properties

Hi! I've not found in the BVideo functions for controlling the playback speed/direction/etc. I want to handle some movies going to specific frames or speeding them up and down. Is it planned (To-do)? Are we able to code something to make it? Thanks, F.

... and, of course, what about the sound in the QuickTime? I just hear the first two seconds and after that nothing else. I'm working on PC.

not sure about how to deal with sound yet, but speed/direction/playback is all fixed and setup for the next release (rev 70) which has a rewritten video library.

Any probable dates on the 70 release? Gotta tell ya, I'm an independent artist - without the luxery of a lot of multimedia software - processing is coming in mighty handy. I'm using sensors through serial to control video - seem to be limited to pause/play right now - really would like to manipulate the framespeed of the movie in response to the sensor data. I'm a tinkering coder at best, and it literally took me 5 minutes to get the microcontroller telling the video what to do in a tiny program. I'm using Processing on a Mac. The only sound issue I've encountered is when I tell the applet to stop the video play, the sound continues to play and will continue playing unless I quit out of processing. Any workaround for that or is it a known bug? Can't wait to see what's next in the video library. kiri
