I've wrote a class wich offers some more blendmodes than the blend() methode. The code ist to long so look here http://www.eskimoblood.de/applet.php?i=20 for an example.

source works nice.
.. but i can't see the applet on your page with safari, os-x.
and ie is even worse, i get two applets ...
maybe it's the object tag:
java:applet20.java
->
java:applet20.class
??

Mhmm, on XP it's work with Firefox, Opera and IE. I use the Object tag cause the applet is not valid xhtml.
