How about some parametres for controling the "design" of the controller?
ex: background color, custom buttons, etc?

well, i'll probably get back sometimes to the development of this controller (implementing the kind of stuff you're suggesting), but it's not planned for the next few months.
(if you're interested in the java source code, i can easily make it public)

I think think it would be a good idea to release the source code so other people can develop it as well. this will allow it to be developed by anyone, like proce55ing.
