networking user interface

hi guys, i've been working on a user interface for a client/server application. the exported files and PDE file are included in the following zip folder: http://users.bigpond.net.au/schwartz/network_interface/appletFiles.zip there's also a .BAT file included, which you windows people should be able to simply double-click as an executable once the folder has been extracted. (the sketch has to be run as an application due to security issues with java, discussed in the reference section). you need to run at least two versions of it at once to get the client-server interaction happening. there seems to be a problem with the sketch, where one version (of the two networked versions being run) freezes. it's usually the one run as client, and it usually happens when you try to disconnect from the server. the server runs fine. so if anyone could give me a clue as to why it's happening, i'd be very appreciative!
