Book-wise, John Maeda's Design by Numbers, Maeda@Media and his new book Creative Code are all excellent in my opinion. Apart from gaining an insight into what drives the development of projects like DBN and Processing, in Creative Code you also get to read essays from Processing's very own Ben Fry and Casey Reas. When I'm done reading, I hope to write a short review which I will post here. Web-wise, you're already here

Yeah, I got my copy from Amazon UK on Tuesday. It looks like they brought the release date forward because when I preordered it I wasn't expecting it until mid-October.
