Drawing offscreen?!

Is there a way to use the processing drawing tools (like line() and beginShape()) to draw to a BImage offscreen? I know that in one of the examples (vector to raster) I think REAS writes a special line drawing algorithm to draw the lines, but can you use any of the processing methods?
