BSpace And 3D Navigation

I was wondering if theres any source I could refer to see how to manipulate 3D objects with mouse for example if i have a bunch of cubes on a grid so then with the right mouse button i can zoom in and out depending on where i click and with the left mouse button rotate the entire space ....something like what we have in 3d MAX . Also wih the middle mouse button move the entire space.
