new windows opened from the forum appear without a status bar. fwiw, since i can make it visible from the browser menu. (useful when opening pages with heavy-loading applets)

i'm on ie6/win2k, and have never experienced that problem. maybe it's a winxp thing, since my dad's xp machine has the same annoying tendency at all times of the day and night.

when i say urls, it is just the ones that link to another posting (if you try to open my signature link, it'll open normally, with a status bar). maybe it is an XP thing, but it is weird that it happens just with the in-forum posting cross-url

as an example, maybe you can try it and see if it works or not on your browser/machine/config:

au revoir

(btw, did you notice that the forum section spells Contribution_Simlation on the url not a bug, however...)

edit:
now it also happened from my signature link, and i
checked the source, it is a simple target="_blank" parameter, so it must be platform-dependant... XP perhaps...

edit2:
and now it does not happens!
sorry folks, my mistake...

well, then, never mind...
