Mac OS 10.1.5 download problems

I can't seem to get Processing 1.0 to work on my computer. When I open up Processing there is an error message that reads:
java.io.FileNotFoundException:
sketchbook/default/sketch_040921/sketch_040921.pde (No such file or directory)
There is much more to this error message but this seems to be the relevant part.
I am using a Mac Powerbook G4, OS 10.1.5.
Thanks for any advice.
This is my first time programming and I need Processing for a class.

that shouldn't stop processing from working, unless you're running it from the disk image. what else is happening, or is it just the error that concerns you?
if you remove "sketch.properties" from the "lib" folder, this error should go away.
also, please note that it's most certainly *not* 1.0
