SUGGESTION: Quicktime for Java support option

Ben + Reas, when proce55ing starts and QT for Java is not enabled, it shows a dialogue which says "cannot run because you dont have qt/java installed" --- sometimes I am on machines where I cannot install this or feel that it wouldn't be the features I would be working with. it would be nice if this dialogue had the "proceed without QT/java" option with a notice explaining reduced functionality. also please take a look at the Ctrl-B fix/suggestion. thanks! -merv

this is covered in bugs.txt: QUICKTIME FOR JAVA / VIDEO PROBLEMS - quicktime for java is still required on windows. it's required on macosx too, but it's installed there by default. the requirement will be removed in a later release for people who don't want to use video, but the fix is more difficult than anticipated, so it will probably happen after the initial beta release.
