resource logging

here's an idea to toy around with for a while: a drive-by-logging of memory and processor usage by each component of a proce55ing program (both higher level functions and lower level variables). a method for displaying this would have to be found, but it think something like Valence would do the job well. as i said, something to toy around with for a while. i'd imagine this could be quite useful in the larger, more resource-intensive programs, but there are no doubt more pressing needs for now. -benelek
