I believe this is the first initiative to teach computational design using Processing to a high school population. Can someone verify? Thanks. ----- December 2004 to February 2005 Xavier School, Introduction to Media Arts and Sciences This course is designed to introduce the participants to the field of Media Arts and Sciences. Using computational design as the foundation, this course will introduce the basics of both design and computation, integrating the two towards the creation of as yet unimagined forms and spaces. Eventually, this course will venture into different areas such as computational information design, computational information architecture, visual gaming and robotics. Finally! The exhibit site is up. http://web.xs.edu.ph/courses/imas/exhibit/ Note: A number of students reverted to Design By Numbers for the final project. Processing was taught, nevertheless, as evidenced by some works.
