Probably, you might already know about this. I read an article that mentioned the works by Ben Fry, Casey Rea, John Maeda and others like Daniel Brown in "Grafik" - Journal of the best in international graphic design. It's an interesting article and so I thought I would drop note here.

sure... It's the Grafik magazine from UK (www.grafikmagazine.co.uk), fka Graphics International (does it ring a bell?), which isn't a commonly found mag around here. The article is by Liz Brown in the July 2003 issue (#107) under the special report sectioin. The title is rather appropiate (in my opionion): Eye Candy - Digitial Art by the generation that's replaced paintbrushes with pixels. Not only does it mention people's names and works but shows the works in print as well. Among them are Casey Reas' Field, Ben Fry's Anemone and Valence, and a few by Golan Levin. It's not a very long article, about a page of text but it's a good one. It centers around the project of procesing plus a tidbit of others in the field. Too bad that the sample content isn't posted on their website. If anyone is interested, I can post an excerpt of the article for your reading pleasure. Shelley
