sonia code folder problem-fixed yet?

I'm currently doing a project and have been using both processing and stamp. basically I've one breakthrough to make and everything else should be fine! I'm using sonia v.2.8 and processing v.69, and using a serial connection; and as posted before, the code folder appears to be the problem. I've looked at the discourse site and searched through the many topics and replies but I cant seem to find any clear cut solution (?). I've not got much time time left before I have to finish my project, and it would be such a shame if I can't resolve this. Is there any new info of new versions of the programs that eliminate the bugs? Any new lines of code or processes I can do to fix this? I would be so grateful if you can offer any help or insight into this!!!

it's finally been fixed but not in a version that's publicly available yet.
if possible, you might try it on another machine, as the problem only exists on some machines
