sonia and jsyn
« on: Nov 15th, 2004, 6:55pm »

I gather from what I've been reading here that there are a large number of java methods, etc. available to processing that are undocumented on the processing site.

I'm wondering whether it is possible to to access JSyn methods through sonia. Looking through the jsyn tutorial it seems that there are a number of things available to jsyn that could be very useful.

I haven't been playing around with processing for very long and have never touched Java before so I'm still unclear about the limitations.

The main feature of the next sonia engine is to provide access to all of jsyn's capabilities using ciruits. I'm testing it now.

Please let me know of other jsyn features you'd like to access directly, and i'll look into integrating it into sonia without using circuits.
