Left and Right channel get's the same level.

Hey there.
I'm working on a project of mine.
And I'm using a stereo mic.
But the exampel on the soina website will display the same sound level for right and left. Why ?
And when copy paste the exampel code into processing and runs it, it only displays the left channel.
(It wont get any input from the right channel, why?)
(The only input it get's is from the left channel)
The stereo mic is brand new.
Can someone give me a hint ?

Hey
Found out the solution.
The mic-line in on regular computer has no stereo input.
That's the problem.
So u have to have a comp with a special soundcard och special linein for stereo.
