Usefuless Cursive

ho. Thanks to fry's app making teachings, and awmartin's illustrator-making code, I have made some useful/useless software with p5. It's based on the Stirfry sketch that i did a while ago, except now it's kind of a design-tool-distraction. You can draw a line and then type, and the line gets converted into cursive, and then clicking will end the line and turn any trailing line into a spirograph thing. There's options for what the mouse will attract, and the type of line that it draws. There's one bug that freezes the app after you save. I just need to wait for the 69 version of awmartin's illustrator export. Mac Version http://elfman.vendetta.com/ryan/dl/cursive_stirfry_1b.zip Win Version http://elfman.vendetta.com/ryan/dl/cursive_stirfry_app.jar Oh also thanks Ariel Malka, who helped me out with the file dialog stuff. BTW if anybody wants to see the source i can post it but it's really messy right now..

It's a first - a genuine Processing application that actually does something. Nice one. I particularly like the string typography.

Why not an applet? Mac/Win doesn't help me much. -K

Oh oops actually the windows version is just a doubleclickable jar file, so it should work on any system that has java installed. I put up an applet version anyway, but it can't save any files. http://elfman.vendetta.com/ryan/p5/stirfryuseful if anybody makes art with it i'd really like to see it
