I've got Rez, and Run Lola Run  I knew it looked familiar.  Nice particles!

(Actually, you can get it for the Dreamcast too.  A cursory glance of ebay suggests that it's rare, but you could still pick up the pair (console and game) for about 60 GBP!)

Btw, the game I was talking about with the white line rabbit and all, it's called Vib Ribbon, and it is cool as hell. Check out the graphical sweetness at http://www.vibribbon.com

Am I missing something?  I couldn't find the game itself... just links to various aspects of the game.  Was I supposed to download an MP3?

hmm

as far as i can see, you can't play vibribbon ONLINE...
it's a playstation game made by SONY, and as Konie says... it is truly cool!

. about the game .
(everything is white lines on black background). You put in a normal music cd, the game then transforms the songs to levels of the game: (i think) by spectrum analysis, different shapes appear on the horisontal white line which the rabbit is walking on ... you then have to jump/avoid these obsticals, by controlling the rabbit with the joypad. if you hit one of the music-generated obsticals, the white-outline shapes are distorted for a little while (i don't remember if an error sound is heard!)...

anyway, it's all about running along on a visual representation of a song, the really cool thing is that it lets you plug-in any music CD... it looks very simple, but it is ALOT of fun to play.

(btw, Konie, thanks for the link, that's bookmarked now!)

Hey you guys are talking about my two favorite games (besides Parappa).

Vib Ribbon was a Japan-Europe only release so it'll be hard to find if you're in the states.

If any of you have a Dreamcast, you can download that version of Rez thanks to the DC's wimpy copy-protection (THANK YOU SEGA!) But I think you should buy it if you have a PS2 because UGA is a really great company.
