serial 10 bit into processing

Hi,
Some question to somebody, who uses the CCS C-compiler together with processing!
I am trying to dump out a 10-bit (2^10) decimal number on the TX-port of my PIC, taken from the A/D-conversion.
But somehow processing doesn't seem to be capable of handling longer bytes, altough (i checked!) zTerm is receiving data from 0-1023 normally!
Does somebody has a programming idea for this inside processing itself?
