hiya Martin,

i'm having trouble viewing this one using the default VM for IE... i think i saw Casey mention recently that he was having trouble viewing another applet (not one of yours) using the default IE VM - maybe the problem is related.

hi jacob,

hmm... i'm tracking it down... got it.

apparently, processing uses more advanced java stuff, even when exporting to applets. now, for the reason that  microsoft had stopped developing their jvm, some of the classes found in recent releases of java aren't found in microsoft's...

for this one in particular... ms jvm is looking for URLClassLoader, AppletPanel as well as Thread.

mr fry?

fastest sol'n to this that i can think of is to use j2re in ie.
