Well, after some attempts I suceeded in making processing work with my webcam thanks to the different posts out there. Elout, may be you would be interested in trying http://www.ims.tuwien.ac.at/~thomas/dsvideolib.php , a lib written in c++ which allows you to manipulate (among other things) webcam frames as openGL textures. This is quite great
