This has been sitting around for a little bit, but I just got permission from Koenie to link to it. The code base was written by Koenie, it's some simple fieldlines code he's expanding right now. Any of the //@ lines in the source code were modified or added by myself, the rest is his. http://rpi.edu/~mcdonk/goghlines/ The palette is stolen from Van Gogh's painting of outside that one cafe, in the alley. The general idea of the code is to randomly flip the polarity of electrodes, and draw fieldlines as it is happening. In the end, it looks very impressionistic.

cool. as a slight change, though, i think it looks better with the normal strokewidth of 1.

Thanks. Sorry, but I highly disagree ^_^ Koenie's first version used a line width of 1, and I have a feeling he'll be doing more with that idea. I wanted something that used the algorithm but had different results.
