noise4. this's starting to resemble an ant-hill warzone. neway, this one's a bit process-intensive. it's best to leave it going for extended periods.

pressing <spacebar> will remove the ant tracks.

mm, "other" jacob... hehe,
 
ur applet seems to be running rather slowly, but the code looks interesting.
 
note that when u do the arraycopy at the beginning of each loop, widthXheight is the same as pixels.length (which avoids having to multiply on each loop).
