Hi there, I read the post about video probably not working, but I thought I'd let you know anyways. I installed the latest quicktime for java and tried to run the example about getting video from a webcam. I got the message "cannot find method "beginVideo(int, int, int)" Ben.

that's odd.. it's in there, not sure what would be going on. what platform are you using? it's possible that video wasn't compiled in by mistake..

I'm using Win2000. I was thinking that I may have made some kind of mistake somewhere as the webcam I have is a little odd. It's not just a webcam, but a camera as well, and you have to open another program before it 'turns into' a webcam. Would this affect it? If someone else has some joy then i'll know it's my crappy camera.

I'm working with Windows 2000 and have the exact same problem, my webcam is a normal one..., so it should work...
