problems typing text

I am just starting with Proce55ing, so I'm learning from the examples and the reference included with the download. When I run the example called "Words", it works fine, but when I try to copy the technique, and even when I copy the text and paste it into a new sketch, it doesn't work. It cites a "NullPointerException" regarding the line about midway down that says, "setFont(fontA, 44);" ...I'm working with Proce55ing-0056 on a Mac OS 9.0.2 If anyone out there knows of a better way to use type than that which is stated in the "Words" example, I'd like to hear it as well. Thanks.

beep... you already posted the same question (answered there) in the "syntax" board (which is the "right" place for such things actually, since what you described is not a bug)
