camara resolution erratic / windows 7x64

I have a problem using capture in processing, with a per port firewire MiniDV, the image looks distorted with noise in the qtcap and in processing works poorly with the resolution that should be (720x580) when using a resolution of 600x480 for example , the image looks horribly stretched.
This is what I use:
1.0 Processing
1.05 WinVDIG
quicktime 7.6
windows seven x64
Sony MiniDV hcr52 by firewire port
blob detection

with vDIG 1.01 didnt work
same stuff in windows XP , i remember works fine.
any solution that does not involve uninstalling windows?
in the sony support says that drivers are currently installed in seven. but, what do you think?

I tested the code in other machines with win seven, same problem. only works on Windows XP with exactly the same configuration
I also tried using a webcam on windows 7, and the resolution of the capture remains erratic..
so..not a problem of the camera, must be a driver issue

I was having the same issue with video capture being distorted in Windows 7.

Just installed winVDIG version 1.01 (not 1.05), it did the trick. You may download here: http://www.eden.net.nz/7/20071008/
