Identify location of a person in a room

I'm working on a project where I need to identify the location of diferent people in a room. I was thinking of using Bluetooth but I can only get peoples existence, not exact location. Then I need to identify them as well. Can anybody point me in the right direction? RFID can be a possibility but I understand its pricy... Can Arduino be a solution? How?
